More than 120 kids ages 5 to 7 years old of the Child Study Center at the University of the Philippines – Diliman, a school managed by the Philippine Association of University Women (PAUW-UP), were treated with majestic views of planets Jupiter and Saturn, as part of an overnight activity called ‘Big Kids Camp’. The camp aims to teach pupils to become self-reliant and independent by involving them in activities such as preparing and cooking food, washing dishes, sleeping without their parents, and learning the values of teamwork through games and other activities.

Astronomical observations are geared towards sharing astronomy with the general public.  It is freeand is open to everyone! Take a look at our previous observations.
