Venus-Moon_Aug10,2013
Close pairing of celestial objects occurs whenever two or more celestial objects appear to be in the same direction in the sky as viewed from Earth, as in the case of the moon and the planet Venus pairing up on August 10, 2013. The sky was hazy and cloudy due to an approaching tropical storm. For more photos celestial groupings, click here.
