2. Setting Up the Working Path

Create a folder that will serve as IRIS’s working directory (this folder is different from the installation files directory folder). In this example, I created a folder named IRIS in Drive C.

Launch IRIS and then configure it to use the working directory (folder) you have just created. Go to FILES > SETTINGS and then select the appropriate WORKING PATH. In this example, the working path is C:\IRIS. IRIS uses this folder in creating and saving files, thus, errors will show up if incorrect work path is provided or selected. Under File Type, I recommend selecting FIT.
