More than one hundred astronomy enthusiasts attended Manila Street Astronomer’s (MSA) lecture on July 17, 2016 at the National Museum Planetarium in Luneta, Manila, with the topic The Moon and How to Observe It. The lecture was held 47 years after man first set foot on the moon in July 1969!

Earlier last month, I was invited by The Mind Museum to participate in an astrophotography exhibit featuring the works of Filipino astrophotographers and also to provide a short talk during the exhibit’s opening ceremony yesterday, October 12, 2012.

A brief talk at The Mind Museum during the opening ceremony of the astrophotography exhibit ‘A Night in a Different Light’ on October 12, 2012.

Photos by fellow astrophotographers will be auctioned and the proceeds will be used to subsidize the entrance fee of public school students and educational programs of the museum.
