The 2012 International Observe the Moon Night event will take place on September 22, be sure to pay our closest neighbor a visit! See the moon through a telescope by joining any of the following observations hosted by various local astronomical organizations and individual astronomy enthusiasts. Please contact the hosts directly before proceeding to an event since last-minute cancellation may happen due to poor weather conditions.

Philippine Astronomical Society (PAS) in collaboration with the University of  Santo Tomas (UST) College of Science, will be holding a public-viewing observation on September 22, 2012, 6 to 9 pm, at the UST Grandstand, España Ave., Manila.

In celebration of International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) and Starpeace, the Astronomical League of the Philippines (ALP) will be holding a free public stargazing session on September 22, 2012 (Saturday) from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Rajah Sulayman Park (in front of Aristocrat Restaurant), Roxas Boulevard, Manila. Join us for a chance to view the Quarter Moon through a telescope and see how beautiful our universe is!!!
